Program Flow
The CMFRT curriculum follows a thoughtful progression that builds skills systematically while reinforcing core concepts throughout the program. Each phase creates a foundation for subsequent learning, ensuring you develop both depth and breadth of therapeutic capability.
Phase 1 — Foundations of Fascial Thinking
Begin with the fundamental principles that govern effective myofascial work. Develop observational skills to assess breath patterns, postural tendencies, and tissue quality. Refine palpation accuracy to distinguish different tissue layers and states of tension. Master the principles of load application and timing that create meaningful fascial change. Learn comprehensive safety screening protocols and effective session pacing to ensure client comfort and optimal outcomes.
Phase 2 — Regional Myofascial Applications
Apply foundational principles to specific body regions, developing targeted assessment and treatment strategies for each area:
  • Foot–Ankle–Lower Leg: Address plantar fascia restrictions, arches, Achilles tendon issues, and deep posterior compartment tension
  • Knee–Thigh–Hip: Work effectively with IT band relationships, adductor patterns, and hip capsule restrictions
  • Pelvis–Lumbar–Abdomen: Navigate thoracolumbar fascia, psoas relationships, and diaphragmatic influences on core function
  • Thorax–Ribs–Shoulder Girdle: Enhance scapulothoracic glide, balance anterior fascial lines, and improve breath mechanics
  • Cervical–TMJ–Head: Address suboccipital tension, work with hyoid/strap musculature, and implement jaw comfort strategies
For each region, you'll learn to link assessment findings to appropriate technique selection, followed by reassessment to verify clinically meaningful change.
