In this culminating capstone course, students will synthesize their herbal knowledge and massage therapy skills to develop an original, ethically sourced, and bioregionally appropriate menu of herbal preparations and therapeutic treatments specifically designed for the Southwest region. Guided by principles of ethical wildcrafting, cultural sensitivity, and ecological stewardship, students will engage in intensive independent research, practical herbal formulation, and create a professionally presented menu tailored for therapeutic bodywork practices.
