This immersive 8-hour course introduces massage therapy students to the foundational techniques of professional bodywork, emphasizing the therapeutic application of touch, body mechanics, technique selection, and clinical adaptability. Through a mix of lecture, demonstration, and guided practice, students will learn and perform Swedish, myofascial, friction, neuromuscular, and stretching techniques.
