Massage therapy is for everyone—but not every technique is for every body. This foundational course equips massage students and professionals with essential knowledge and practical skills for working with diverse client populations, including children, older adults, athletes, people with disabilities, large-bodied clients, and those in end-of-life care.
Using the core principles of clinical reasoning, ethical awareness, and evidence-informed practice, students will learn how to identify indications, contraindications, and necessary adaptations to create safe, effective, and inclusive sessions. The course includes real-life scenarios, a group discussion, and a practice quiz to reinforce learning and promote confidence.
